Committee Members

Hans-Werner Neumann, born 1957, sound engineer, is chairperson of WaldSaat e.V. (Forest Seeding Association). Among other things he deals with matters concerning official institutions, contacts with other organizations and generally keeps everything ticking over and everyone together. He is particularly interested in collecting fundamental information on forest seeding. Since 05.04.2008 he has been an active member of Utopia.de (Hans-Werners Utopia Profile).
Utopia.de is very important to us because the idea of founding the WaldSaat e.V. (Forest Seeding Association) was engendered there and it was also at Utopia.de that the committee members (although all from Frankfurt/Main) first became acquainted with each other.

Michael Hahn, born 1969, founder and owner of the “Agentur für Soziales Wirtschaften“, is deputy chairperson of WaldSaat e.V. (Forest Seeding Association). Among other things he makes use of his connections to attract new members in Frankfurt, to set up and maintain contacts with schools and to involve multimedia freelancers in our activities. For the project in Oberjosbach he not only managed to provide all the participants with buckets and trowels, but also turned into a very professional reporter for our documentary film on the project. Michael is the committee member who has been with Utopia.de the longest, since 07.12.2007 (Michaels Utopia Profile)

Sylvia Mehrmann, born 1962, visual recycling artist, is our strict treasurer. Along with many other activities connected with our association she meticulously takes care that all our financial matters are not only in order, but also managed ethically and ecologically and are socially responsible (and quite rightly so!). Sylvia is also very adept at getting sponsors interested in our work. Without this special talent a lot of things would not have been possible this autumn.
